FLORHAM PARK, NJ - The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in New Jersey is $2.89 today, unchanged from last week, but 20 cents higher than a month ago and 50 cents high than May 7, 2017. The survey of prices was conducted by AAA Northeast.

“Crude oil prices are topping 70 dollars a barrel this morning and pushing up prices at the pump once again,” said Robert Sinclair, Manager of Media Relations for AAA Northeast. “Rising crude prices, combined with geopolitical tensions that raise concerns about the supply of oil and energy products, are putting upward pressure on the market.”
