MONTCLAIR, NJ - Today is Election Day in Montclair. If you still have not voted, you still have a chance. All ballots must be postmarked May 12 in order to be counted. You can also go to the Essex County Hall of Records if you didn't receive a ballot.

Details are as follows:

Voters can go in person to apply for a second ballot at the County Clerk’s Office at the Hall of Records in Newark on:
Friday, May 8, 2020 from 9:00am - 4:00pm;
Saturday, May 9, 2020 from 9:00am - 1:00pm;
Monday, May 11, 2020 from 9:00am - 4:00pm;
and Election Day, Tuesday, May 12, 2020 from 6:00am - 8:00pm.

Only about 20% of Montclair voters have returned a ballot, to elect the next Mayor and Town Council.

If you place your ballot in the mail today, Tuesday, May 12, which is the post-mark deadline, then your ballot can still count.
