MONTCLAIR, NJ - According to the Township of Montclair officials, a new traffic pattern has been established for the Bloomfield Avenue Bridge as of November 3.
As work continues on the Bloomfield Avenue bridge spanning Montclair and Glen Ridge, a new traffic pattern was put in place with the reopening of two eastbound lanes.
Though the westbound left lane is open, the right lane is closed for curb/sidewalk repair and minor electrical work. This final phase of construction is anticipated to last approximately one month.
Pedestrian access to the bridge is restored on the eastbound side only; the pedestrian shuttle service has been eliminated.
