MONTCLAIR, NJ - In light of the destruction of the grand Menorah ice sculpture on Church Street and recent attacks on Jewish people across the nation, Montclair clergy are planning a community Menorah lighting from 6-7PM tonight.

Community leaders wrote:

"An opportunity for interfaith support and solidarity:

Following the rash of attacks on clearly identifiable Jews - such as the attack last night in Monsey - all Montclair area synagogue communities will join in solidarity and light the last Hanukah light tonight - from 6 PM - 7 PM - the lighting will be at the corner of South Park St. and Bloomfield Ave, in front of lululemon - 520 Bloomfield Ave.
Please join us in sadness but also in pride and togetherness."
