MONTVILLE, NJ - A lottery will be held on Wednesday, March 5 at 11 a.m. at the Montville Township Municipal building for six affordable housing dwellings for low- and moderate-income individuals interested in residing in the new Briar Hill at Montville development on Vreeland Avenue.
These units are one-bedroom, age-restricted for ages 55 and over, have single-car garages and do not have basements. The units have not been constructed yet, so they are not available to tour. Additional information about the units and the application form can be found on the Montville Township website by clicking here.
A preliminary application must be received by Piazza Associates no later than Friday, Feb. 28 to be included in the lottery. Applications will still be accepted after this date, but will be added to the waiting list in the order in which they were received. Because of the short time before the deadline, it is recommended that applications be sent via fax to (609) 786-1105.
Questions may be directed to Meghan Hunscher, Montville Township Housing Director, at (973) 331-3319.
