BOONTON, NJ - Boonton Main Street, Inc. will be hosting First Friday Late Night: Go Red! for Women's Heart Health on Friday, February 5th, from 5-9 p.m. along Main Street in Boonton. Businesses will be open late on Main Street on February 5th, but the excitement started February 1st with BMS partner, the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA.

Event sponsor, Lakeland Hills Family YMCA will be handing out hearts for First Friday Late Night: Go Red! participants at their facility on Fanny Road from Monday, February 1 through Friday, February 5 to celebrate Go Red! Week at the Y. Many groups will be creating hearts at the Y including over 200 children in the Early Childhood Learning Center, over 75 teens in the Leaders Program and over 300 children in 7 elementary schools in 6 towns which have their Kids Club after-school program onsite. The goal of this collective group is to make over 1,000 hearts.

On Thursday, February 4, the Y will host a Member Appreciation Day, promoting the next day's event as part of the week-long celebration. On Friday, February 5, the Y will host a free community-wide class called Mindful Stretch, featuring gentle stretching and inspirational meditation. This leads to First Friday Late Night: Go Red! where participants will take their red hearts that evening and proceed along Main Street in Boonton.
