MONTVILLE, NJ - The Montville boys basketball team dropped its second game in a row on Friday night, as it lost 54-43 to Roxbury at Montville Township High School.

Montville held a 24-18 lead at halftime, and took a one-point lead going into the fourth quarter. But Roxbury, led by Kyle Haegele's 16-point performance which included six points in the fourth quarter, out-scored Montville 21-9 in the fourth quarter to secure the win. 

Anthony Ferrare led the way offensively for Montville with 14 points, while Spencer Carus added 12 points. Mike Sesko chipped in with nine points, as Montville's record dropped to 5-2 with the loss.

Brian Nichols also had 13 points for Roxbury, which improved to 6-2.

Montville travels to Morris Hills for a 7 p.m. game on Tuesday, Jan. 14, with its next home game on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. versus Pequannock.
