MONTVILLE, NJ – Montville Township police are reporting a burglary in the Valhalla section of the township last night.

According to the police social media post, a residence on Pond View was broken into on Friday, Sept. 13. Police were alerted to the situation at approximately 8 p.m. when the home’s alarm system sounded and they discovered the break-in at the residence.

Montville police and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit searched the area but were unsuccessful.

The Montville Township Police Detective Bureau and the Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit are investigating.
