I have been a resident of Montville Township for 40 years. 

Historically, with bad weather conditions as we had on Thursday, April 10, I lost internet service. I made several calls resulting in over 9 hours on hold over this past weekend, only to get a repairman to come to my home with limited equipment on Saturday. The repair was started but not completed. 

Now, Monday, Optimum told me that NJ is a Covid 19 hot spot and no repairs will be attempted to restore my service. And to save service to "others," my service has been shut off.

I have 2 college students who are now home who need internet to keep up with studies. I can not do online banking. I can not continue with my online courses. I can not go on Facetime to see my sons (one a dr) who are both in Manhattan working in the hospital. 

The repair work that needs to be done is at the road and Not in my home. 

COVID 19 is a horrible virus. 

The way Optimum has treated a paying customer is just as bad.
