MONTVILLE, NJ - According to the unofficial results, with approximately 44% of registered voters voting in Montville Township, Republican incumbants Richard Conklin and Richard Cook won the election to continue as members of the Montville Township Committee for a term of three years, defeating Venancio Fuentes.

The unofficial results from the Morris County Clerk's office reported that Conklin received 2,913 votes, Cook received 2,798 votes and Fuentes received 1,596 votes.

Michael O’Brien and Michael Rappaport won the election to continue as members of the Montville Township Board of Education and Christine Fano won the third open seat over John Morella. Each of these three elected board members will serve for a term of three years.

With approximately 48% of registered voters voting for the Board of Education candidates, the unofficial results reported that Fano received the most votes with 2,201, O’Brien received 2,079 votes, Rappaport received 2,068 votes and Morella received 1,651 votes.

The unofficial results for the 2019 election in Morris County were:


Republicans Jay Webber and BettyLou DeCroce defeated Democrats Laura Fortgang and Christine Clarke.


Republican Heather Darling defeated Democrat Michael Thompson for Morris County Surrogate.


Republican James Gannon defeated Democrat William Schievella for the Morris County Sheriff’s position.


Republicans Douglas Cabana, Thomas Mastrangelo and Kathy DeFillippo defeated Democrats Cara Parmigiani, Cary Amaro and David Timpanaro for the three open Morris County Freeholder positions.
