MONTVILLE, NJ - The Montville girls basketball team won its second game in a row for the first time all season, as it pulled out a commanding 61-42 win over West Morris on Wednesday night in Chester.

The Mustangs followed up a thrilling, 56-50 overtime win over High Point on Monday with a big win on Wednesday. Emma Wax led the way with 22 points offensively, to go along with six rebounds, six assists and five steals.

Montville led, 30-20 at halftime before it outscored West Morris 31-22 in the second half. Dani Vito added 13 points and seven rebounds, while Livia Shine chipped in with 10 points. Dani Campbell had seven points and seven rebounds in the win.

Montville will look to continue its winning ways on Saturday when it travels to face Watchung Hills for an 11 a.m. start.
