Lazar Students Beautify the School Grounds

MONTVILLE, NJ - Students from Robert R. Lazar Middle School recently enjoyed a sunny spring afternoon planting marigolds around the school’s main sign.

The project was initiated by the students of the Lazar Advisory Committee as part of their eighth grade service learning project.

In addition to planting, the students also beautified the grounds by weeding.

Teachers Mrs. Kerry Puttenvink and Mrs. Sharon Yuhas serve as faculty advisors to the Lazar Advisory Committee.

Bridgewater, NJ - A Bedminster woman has died from her injuries after she was struck by a car in the parking lot of the Bridgewater Commons Mall Monday.
