MONTVILLE, NJ - Winter continues to barrel on as a long duration storm will impact our area this week. The Morris County Office of Emeregency Management reported that a winter weather advisory remains in effect from 3 p.m. this afternoon until 6 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, March 4.
Snow has begun to fall in the area and will mix with/transition over to sleet after approximately 4 p.m. before changing to rain in the area of 9-10pm. Accumulations of 1.5-3” is estimated for phase one of the storm.
Phase two of the storm, which is expected Wednesday night into Thursday has an accumulation range of 2-7” dependent on elevation and storm track.
