MONTVILLE, NJ – The Montville Township Marching Band will be hosting its 13th annual Mustang Classic Band Festival on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Montville Township High School.
This event, which will begin at 5:30 p.m., will feature six area high schools performing their half-time shows, complete with the pageantry of music, dance and precision of marching band excitement. High schools include Pompton Lakes, Passaic Valley, Morris Knolls, Pequannock, Wayne Valley and Delaware Valley.
The MTHS Mustangs, led by Director Chelsea Stebbins and Assistant Director Garrett Vargo, will also perform their show, “The Time Machine,” which is a nod to Montville Township’s 150th anniversary.
“It tells the story of how the past, present and future affect us all,” Stebbins said. “We all dwell on the past and fear the future at some point in our lives. But the most important thing is to live in the moment.”
Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Ticket prices are adults $8, seniors/students $4 if purchased in advance, and adults $12, seniors/students $7 at the gate. Please contact Donna Lizza (email@example.com) to purchase tickets or for more information.
