DENVILLE, NJ-– Morris County School of Technology’s Tech Club is hosting hackMCST Local Hack Day on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. The hackathon will be located at the high school, 400 East Main St, Denville.
HackMCST Local Hack Day is a 12-hour event where students from North Jersey high schools and middle schools come together to work in teams to make their idea a reality. The project can be an app, game, hardware invention, or whatever their imagination desires.
Beginners will have the opportunity to attend workshops in areas such as app development, circuitry, Java programming, and web development. Students can work in teams of four or alone to create their idea. Presentations will be held at the end of the event and judges will choose the Top 3 teams to win awesome prizes.
The event is free of cost for all participants, which includes lunch, dinner, beverages, snacks, and swag. Many fun activities will be planned throughout the event.
