MONTVILLE, NJ - Spencer Carus netted 17 points to lift the Montville boys basketball team to a 59-50 win over Pequannock on Thursday night at Montville Township High School.

Carus also added six steals for the Mustangs, who improved to 6-3 with the win. It managed to outscore Pequannock 17-11 in the fourth quarter to pull away, as it knocked down key free throws down the stretch.

C.J. Arena chipped in with 15 points and six rebounds, while Mike Sesko had 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Anthony Ferrare added eight points and Brendan McHale tallied six points, six rebounds, and five steals in the win.

Montville will travel to face Mount Olive on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in its next game.
