MONTVILLE, NJ - The Montville girls basketball team is on to the Morris County Tournament quarterfinals, as the top seed Mustangs took down 16th seed Mendham, 44-34 at Montville Township High School on Saturday for their annual Pink Game as they raised awareness and donations for the American Cancer Society.

Emma Wax tallied 16 goals and 11 rebounds to lead Montville in both categories for the game, as the team improved its record to an unblemished 17-0. Dani Vito added 11 points, while Bella Vito added nine points and eight rebounds in the win.

Montville will take on eight seed Morristown in the quarterfinals on Saturday at Morris Knolls High School, with tip-off set for 5 p.m. After that, it will take on Mendham once again on Monday at 7 p.m. in the team's senior night game.
