MONTVILLE, NJ - The Montville girls basketball team has been proving night-in and night-out the type of team that it can be, to the tune of a perfect 12-0 record.

Now, it will get a chance to chase after the program's first-ever Morris County Tournament title, as it earned the top seed on Sunday. With the top seed comes a preliminary round bye, before it faces off at home against the winner of 16th seed Mendham and 17th seed Mountain Lakes on Feb. 8.

The quarterfinals are slated for Feb. 15 at Morris Knolls High School, with the semifinals on Feb. 21 at County College of Morris. The final will be on Feb. 28 at the County College of Morris.

The Montville boy basketball team holds a 7-4 overall record and earned the 13th seed in the Morris County Tournament. It will host 20th seed Morris Tech in the preliminary round on Saturday, and the winner of that game will travel to face fourth seed Mountain Lakes on Feb. 8.
