OAK RIDGE, NJ – Montville resident and Lakeland Bank Vice President Marcella Gencarelli recently received the Boy Scouts of America 2019 Tribute to Women Award, bank President and CEO Thomas Shara announced.
The Boy Scouts of America Tribute to Women Awards Luncheon is an annual event which honors outstanding women who serve as exemplary role models for the youth in the community through their vocations or avocations and who live their lives according to the ideas of the scout oath and law.
“I am extremely honored to be recognized by the Boy Scouts of America and grateful to be named among such amazing, accomplished, deserving honorees,” said Gencarelli. “Throughout my career, I have had countless opportunities to serve the community with so many wonderful people and look forward to continuing the mission.”
Gencarelli joined Lakeland Bank in 2017 as a Vice President, Customer Outreach and Events Manager. In her current role, she is primarily responsible for creating and implementing unique and timely seminars for Lakeland Bank clients and prospects. She is chairwoman of the Suburban Chamber of Commerce, founder of the Warren Ladies Lunch – a women’s networking group, member of the Women’s Center of Entrepreneurship’s Women of Influence, Summit YMCA, and Believe Inspire Grow (B.I.G).
