MONTVILLE, NJ - The Montville School of Rock is an elite group of highly trained musicians at Montville Township High School which delivers a number of concerts each year. Students chose the theme name “Rock’sGiving!” for their concerts this year after deciding that proceeds from all of their performances, throughout the year, would be donated to worthy causes.
In fact, one hundred percent of the proceeds from the band’s next concert will go directly to The Homeless Bus, a non-profit organization based right here in Towaco, NJ, which feeds the homeless of NYC every Saturday.
“We’ve put every kind of music: funky jazz fusion, classic rock, alternative, ballads and even 70s pop into this performance” said Maje’ Lustbader, one of the band’s lead vocalists. “It’s about the power of music and our ability to make a difference!”
In addition to the electrifying musical routines which typify the bands appearances, this next concert will feature jugglers, comedy, and guest performances by Montville School of Rock alumni.
The concert will start at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24 in Montville Township High School’s auditorium. Tickets are only $5.00 dollars and will be sold at the door.
