The Montville School of Rock, an elite group of highly trained musicians at Montville High School, will deliver their second annual Thanksgiving benefit concert - ROCK’S-GIVING II - on Monday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. at Montville High School.

All of the proceeds from the concert will go toward helping with the expenses of Emma Marie Wyman, a baby girl from Parsippany who was diagnosed with cancer before her first birthday.

“Emma continues to require medical attention. Every day seems to present a new set of obstacles. But Emma keeps battling; always with a smile. The cancer, long term effects of the chemo, and the effects of the stroke are unknown. That is why she and her family are in such desperate need of the love and support of all those around them,” said Danielle Vytell-Mitschele, a teacher at Lazar Middle School and a member of the support team known as “Emma’s Angels.”

Last year’s concerts included fundraisers for the Homeless Bus and Montville’s Drug Awareness Council. Past fundraisers have included Project Graduation, The Matthew Kulick Foundation and The Carol G Simon Foundation.

Students Credits Include: Madison Motherway, Sruthi Gudimella, Jennifer Cappuccio, Amanda Rosado, Catherine Tsilionis, Josh Carus, David Champion - Vocals; Billy Billand, Matty Enriquez, Kevin Wang - Guitar; Alessandra Guarneri - Drums; Cyrus Dastparvardeh, Brenden Silverman - Keyboards; Jason Lisa - Sound; and Tasneem Amer as the group’s announcer. The concert will also feature guest performances by Montville School of Rock alumni.

The concert takes place at Montville High School, 100 Horseneck Road, Monday November 23rd at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and will be sold at the door. This promises to be a wonderful family event.
