Montville Township 4th of July Celebration 2015

MONTVILLE, NJ – The Montville Township 4th of July Committee will be hosting their annual 4th of July Celebration from Thursday, June 25 to Saturday, June 27 at the Montville Township High School.

The Montville Township 4th of July Celebration is three days filled with food, entertainment, and amusement park rides. It will feature highlights such as a parade, Montville Idol, and a firework display. The rides will be held in the Montville Township High School parking lot and all food and entertainment will be in the Library parking lot right next door.

Unlimited ride wristbands will be sold for Thursday, June 25 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday, June 27 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for $30. To get the online presale price of $25, visit montville4th.com.

The 4th of July Celebration 2015 is made possible through volunteers as well as the Montville Township Police Department, the Board of Education, the Township Recreation Department, the Public Works Department, the First Aid Squad, the Library, the Fire Department of Montville, Pine Brook, and Towaco, and the Township Committee.

Thursday, June 25th Schedule

6pm – 11pm
RIDES and food OPEN at 6pm

7pm Johnny B and the Goodtones: 8 piece blues band with big horn sound

8pm The Wolf Pack: A blues act that delivers the New Orleans sound and the Chicago Blues

9pm Street Hassle: An energetic twelve piece classic rock band

Friday, June 26th Schedule

6pm – Midnight
RIDES and food OPEN at 6pm.

5:30pm Take a Chance: Unique mixture of current pop and classic rock

6:45pm Owl Kill: Original up and coming Indie band

7:45pm A Shot of Honey: 5-piece cover band – Tom Petty, Beatles, Bad Co.

8:45pm Degrees Below Zero: Classic rock

10pm Blame It On the Girl: A party rock band

Saturday, June 27th Schedule

2pm – Midnight
RIDES and food all day.

1pm Parade: The parade will start at Gathering Road, travel north on Changebridge, turn right onto Horseneck and end at the High School.

2pm VFW presentation of the colors: Emily Michalak will sing the National Anthem

2:30pm Montville Idol FINALS

5pm Take a Chance

6pm The US Jazz Band: Swinging dixieland jazz at its finest

7:15pm The Zach Tanner Band: Classic rock and Top 40 with a unique sound

8:15pm Common Conviction: Classic rock with great vocals and a great beat

9:30pm Fireworks
