MONTVILLE, NJ – The Township of Montville released information about its no solicitation list, following consternation on the Montville Moms Facebook page regarding door-to-door salespeople who were canvassing the town.
At the Tuesday, June 12 Montville Township Committee meeting, the mayor and committee directed administration to publicly announce to all residents that under the legal tenants of the township’s existing solicitor’s ordinance (read the ordinance here), all residents have the option to ask the township clerk to include their names on the “no solicitation list.”
By requesting one’s name to be added, all approved solicitors will be notified that you wish not to be solicited. In order to be placed on the list, email your name and address to Township Clerk Leena Abaza at firstname.lastname@example.org, or mail this information to her at: 195 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045.
Once a name is placed on the “No Solicitation List,” it will remain on the list until it is requested by email or in writing to be removed.
