MONTVILLE, NJ - Despite the pouring rain, Montville Township residents came out for the township’s annual Fishing Derby on May 7. Co-sponsored by Montville PBA Local 140 and the Montville Kiwanis, children enjoyed fishing on Masar Park Pond.

Prizes were provided by the P.B.A., Kiwanis and Fairfield Fishing Tackle. The pond had been stocked with a variety of fish including trout, catfish, blue gill and bass. Bagels and orange juice were provided by the PBA, and donuts and coffee from the Kiwanis. The kids were aided by the Montville Township Police Explorers Post 805 and the R.E.A.C.H. Club.
