MONTVILLE, NJ - In the aftermath of Tropical Storm Isaias, we have received numerous complaints from our residents regarding vegetative waste pickup.  In response to these complaints, Administration had a meeting this morning with the principal of Suburban Disposal and the outcome of that meeting is as follows:

  • Based on the amount of debris from the storm, pickup will take several weeks.  We ask residents to be patient.  If the contractor does not pick up all your vegetative waste at one time, please do not consider this a missed pickup.  Because of the large amount of vegetative debris throughout the town, pickup will take multiple weeks.
  • As a result of our meeting, Suburban Disposal has promised to have extra vehicles in Montville Township on Thursday, August 13 to continue their effort of removing our vegetative waste.
  • As a reminder, your normal pickup day for vegetative waste is the first garbage pickup day of the week (either Monday or Tuesday).
  • If you should still have an issue, our solid waste and recycling contractor, Suburban Disposal, wants you to contact them directly by email at  Please be sure to include your contact information, address, and description of issue at hand.
