MONTVILLE, NJ – The Montville Township Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5481 will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on Friday, April 24.

Current members served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and other combat conflicts.  We are proud to still have eight active WWII members that are in their mid-nineties.

In addition to providing veteran’s services, such as VA benefits and assistance, Post 5481 is active in community activities, organizing the Memorial Day, 9/11 and Veterans’ Day ceremonies, which are Montville traditions. The VFW also sponsors various patriotic programs at the elementary schools, middle school and the high school.
