The Morris Habitat ReStore, located in Randolph NJ, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with special events, sales and fundraising opportunities. It took over 3 years to go from an idea to the grand opening of the ReStore on May 12, 2007.  To learn more about the ReStore’s interesting history go to www.morrisrestore.org/about-us/.

Right now, to emphasize its mission as the Store that Builds Homes, the ReStore is offering shoppers the chance to contribute individual donations toward the 10th Anniversary House. The future home of Nelly and Julio Carmona and their three children is now under construction at 45 Harding Avenue in Dover, NJ.

The goal is to raise $150,000 by June 30, 2017. Come into the ReStore to shop the great selection of merchandise and to contribute any amount toward this house!  Ask any of the friendly staff and volunteers for more details.

If you would like a more personal connection to this family, please consider volunteering at the construction site.  Go to www.morrishabitat.org to sign up to volunteer.

Another interesting way to raise funds to help build the Anniversary House is the raffle drawing for a child’s electric ride-on car. This bright red, ride-on car fits a toddler aged 2-4 years who weighs up to 66 pounds.  Raffle tickets, from $1 for one to $10 for 20 tickets, can be purchased at the cashier’s desk.  The drawing will be held at 1pm on Saturday May 6, 2017.  The winner need not be present.

All individual donations will be combined with monthly ReStore proceeds to go toward the goal of building the 10th Anniversary House.  For more information on Morris Habitat, the ReStore and its activities, go to http://morrisrestore.org or call 973.891.1934.
