MORRISTOWN, NJ – If they are to repeat as county champions, it will be a four-step process for the Morristown field hockey team.

Step one wasn’t much of a challenge.

The undefeated Colonials took their ninth straight victory of the season on Monday afternoon, steamrolling Montville, 6-0, in the Morris County Tournament Round of 16. The Colonials will face the winner of tomorrow’s Chatham/Boonton 8-9 game contest in Saturday’s quarterfinal round.

The winners jumped out to a 4-0 lead at half time, and received two-goal efforts off the sticks of Olivia Graham, Callie Sundin, and Indira Summerville en route to victory.

Morgan Mastracchio assisted on two of the goals, while Sundin and Savannah Fumilo also added assists to the game’s ledger.
