MONTVILLE, NJ – For all those still in awe of the blockbuster film Avengers: Endgame, the fanfare is continuing right here in Montville. On Saturday, May 18, the Montville Township High School Comic Corps will be hosting its second annual Comic Con in association with the Montville Township Public Library. The event is open to Montville middle and high schoolers and will feature multiple panels, an Artist Alley, a cosplay contest, and more. It will be held at the library from 1-4 p.m.

The first panel will feature comic book writers Buddy Scalera and Steve Conte. Scalera was an author for Deadpool, but now both writers work on their own independent series. The creator of the Klingon language from Star Trek, Marc Okrand, will also be Skyping in. The club’s second panel will explore what is in store for the Marvel cinematic universe after Endgame.

Participants can come in costume if they wish to compete in the cosplay contest. Snacks will be provided. Registration is requested at Comic Con. For more information, call the library at 973-402-0900 x242 or go to Comic Con.
