MONTVILLE, NJ – The Montville Township Public Library announces its celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month with three events:

On Sunday, Sept. 17 at 2:00 p.m., there will be Viva Flamenco: A Performance and Lecture. Viva Flamenco explores the roots of Gypsy flamenco, bringing audiences an appreciation of music and movement as a means to oppose oppression, and demonstrating the strength and dignity of dance. (For all ages.)

For teens in grades 4 through 12, learn the Peruvian game of Sapo on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 4:00 p.m.

Cookies and Conversations will have a special edition on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 2:30 p.m. (For Grades 6-12) We will discuss issues and problems currently facing the Hispanic-American community.
