MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Kinnelon Borough Police Chief John Schwartz announce that Thomas Thomasevich age 70, of Oakland, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, a crime of the second degree; two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a crime of the third degree; and six counts of cruelty & neglect of children, a crime of the fourth degree.

This 70-year-old defendant is alleged to have committed acts of sexual contact on two minor female students known to him while he was working as a driver for the First Student Bus Company, located out of Butler. Such acts were committed in the presence of several other minor students. The defendant has been charged by warrant-complaint and is currently lodged at the Morris County Correctional Facility, pending a court appearance.
