MONTVILLE, NJ - There’s a new store in town, a store like no other in Montville Township. Once and Again Consignment had its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, April 1.

Gina Falco, an interior designer and owner of a successful consignment store in Madison, opened her second business at the Red Barn Plaza on Route 202.

Falco worked in Montville Township a long time ago, and when she wanted to expand her business to a new location, she thought of Montville. She said, “I fell in love with the Barn. The character and integrity of the Barn captured me.”

The philosophy of the store is “Renew, Reuse, and Recycle.” A client of the Madison store said, “It is my favorite ‘go to store.’ It’s like comfort food for shoppers.”

Falco said, “Clients are like family to me. I am so thankful for them.” She is looking forward to serving the needs of the people in Montville Township and the surrounding area.

Family, friends and township dignitaries, including Mayor James Sandham, Deputy Mayor Frank Cooney, Committeeman Richard Cook, Joe O’Dowd, a director for the Montville Township Chamber of Commerce, and Jerry Hug, owner of the Red Barn Plaza, came to the grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony.

Mayor Sandham said, “We wish Gina Falco success, not only once, but again and again.”

Falco took the old site of the Red Barn Liquor and Pub and literally transformed it into a beautiful place to display her consigned items. She began with her first furniture piece being delivered on March 17, and by April 1, the store was transformed and opened for business.

Falco explained that the consignment shop works by clients paying a onetime fee of $10 to consign. All consigners receive 45 percent of the sale. After a time, if the item does not sell, the item goes back to the consigner or Once and Again Consignment donates it.

Falco said that she is selective about what she takes and said that the inventory is changing every day.

The store offers furniture, art work, china, crystal, women’s clothing, pocketbooks, jewelry and much more.

Store hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p,m,, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
