MORRIS COUNTY, NJ - The primary election is July 7, 2020.
The Morris County Board of Elections is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, so all voter registration applications and/or change of party affiliation forms should be mailed to the Morris County Clerk at 10 Court Street, Morristown, NJ 07960
Voter registration also must be mailed in. Faxed or emailed applications are not accepted. Voter registration must be completed by June 16, 2020.
Per the Governor's Executive order, all registered Republicans and Democrats will automatically receive a vote by mail ballot. All registered Unaffiliated voters will receive an application for a vote by mail ballot. Those applications must be received by June 30, 2020. The ballots must be postmarked by 8 p.m. on July 7, 2020.
The Morris County Clerk is reminding everyone that it is FREE to register to vote. Any website that charges for voter registration is not an official government site. Beware of releasing personally identifiable voter registration information on nongovernmental sites, the clerk's office stated.
