MONTVILLE, NJ - The Montville Township Recreation Department will be sponsoring multi-sports camps for the 2017 spring break for ages 5-11.
Players will have the opportunity to experience up to four different sports each day. Sports include baseball, basketball, cricket, flag football, hockey, handball, lacrosse, soccer, rugby and more!
During the morning, players will focus on developing their technique and skills within each sport, and gain a basic understanding of playing a scrimmage. The afternoon will focus on small-sided scrimmages in a tournament environment that encourages good sportsmanship and teamwork. Please send your child with a bagged lunch if participating in full-day camp.
Camps take place at the Montville Community Park turf fields located at 130 Changebridge Road in Montville. In case of inclement weather, the program will be moved inside, to Lazar Middle School Gymnasium.
Children should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Children must have a water bottle! Children should dress appropriately based upon the weather! Layered clothing is the best. This is an “outdoor” camp.
Instruction is provided by US Sports Institute staff.
