PINE BROOK, NJ  Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, creator of the world's first all-trampoline walled playing court, will open its first New Jersey location in Pine Brook in June. Sky Zone is a 30,000-square-foot facility that will include an Open Jump court, three Ultimate Dodgeball courts, an Ultimate Volleyball court, a SkySlam basketball court, SkyRobics and a Foam Zone. The new Sky Zone location will add approximately 125 jobs to the local economy.

“We’re very excited to bring the first Sky Zone location to the Garden State,” said Mike Janay, the Sky Zone franchise partner in northern New Jersey. “Families are always on the lookout for fun new forms of entertainment.  From Open Jump to a variety of sports courts, Sky Zone provides hours of fun for both kids and adults, allowing our guests to literally bounce off the walls.”

Sky Zone will defy gravity with its newest park, offering New Jerseyans the ultimate 3-D play experience. Its all-trampoline walled courts are designed for optimal air time with popular activities such as Open Jump, offering a court of over 50 connecting trampolines where the sky is the limit, Ultimate Dodgeball, for a fresh new take on that favorite childhood pastime, Sky Slam which gives everyone the opportunity to slam dunk a basketball, Ultimate Volleyball allowing jumpers to set, dig and spike from new heights and SkyRobics, an innovative fitness class that burns up to 1,000 calories in one hour.  Freestyle flyers can also practice their moves as they soar into the giant Foam Zone.

Janay, a resident of Maplewood and native of North Caldwell, visited his first Sky Zone with his family a few years ago in Buffalo, NY. On a quest to look for entertainment for his children, he reluctantly took them to this “bounce place” that was recommended to him.

“The first thing you do when you walk in the door is say ‘Wow’,” Janay said of his Sky Zone visit that day. “My kids loved it, and I left that day knowing that I wanted to be a part of this experience. Now, after a two-year long process, we are finally in the final stages of making Sky Zone Pine Brook a reality and are looking to hire awesome people that want to have fun and deliver wow.”

Sky Zone offers every kind of outing, from birthday parties, dodgeball tournaments, fundraising events and corporate team building to memorable class field trips.  All ages, shapes and sizes are invited to HAVE FUN, FLY SAFE at Sky Zone.  Sky Zone Pine Brook is located at 60 Chapin Rd.

“Since our inception in 2004, Sky Zone continues to entertain, excite and evolve family entertainment while infusing Active Fun into a healthy lifestyle,” said Jeff Platt, president of Sky Zone LLC.  “As we look to expand our presence in the New Jersey market, we are pleased to offer residents a new twist on recreational activities.  Our goal is to have fans in every city, nationwide jumping for joy!”

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Parks are located throughout the United States and Canada to welcome jumpers of any age, shape or physical ability for a one-of-a-kind experience.  For more information on Sky Zone, including class and event details, visit www.skyzone.com.
