MONTVILLE, NJ – The Montville Township Police Department presents “Touch-a-Truck,” an interactive, hands-on event at which children and their families can see emergency and construction vehicles close up. The event will be held at Montville Township High School on Sunday, May 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Touch-a-Truck creates a learning experience for kids, allowing them to look, see, touch, ask questions of the operators of the trucks, and it gives them the opportunity to meet some of their hometown heroes. From big rigs to emergency vehicles, children of all ages are encouraged to explore and investigate.
This family event is free. Participants include Dan Como and Sons, Condurso’s, Gray Supply, JCP&L, Serafin Excavating, Verizon, the Montville Township Dept. of Public Works, the Montville Township First Aid Squad and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office.
Montville Township High School is located at 100 Horseneck Road in Montville.
