MONTVILLE, NJ - Girl Scout Troop #4967, of Valley View Elementary School honored the community’s fall clean-up day a week early this year. To help their school and their community the Scouts spent Saturday, Oct. 10 in the sunshine. Wearing gloves and carrying bags and trash pickers, the five fifth grade students cleaned-up the grounds for the benefit of the families and students who attend Valley View.

“We are so proud and grateful for the enthusiasm these Scouts exhibited. The Valley View fall clean-up was a tremendous success,” said Principal Dr. Patricia Kennedy. “Thank you girls. We appreciate your hard work.”

The students, Sofia Behrens, Sammy Ko, Sofia Miloseska, Jordan Quinn and Jordan Vielee, were happy to help their school and its community.

“Thanks to these dedicated girls,” said Troop #4967 leader, Laura Quinn, “Valley View is sparkling clean!”
