MONTVILLE, NJ - A vehicle was stolen and another two were broken into on Monday, according to Montville Township Police Captain Andrew Caggiano.

Caggiano said a resident on Karen Drive reported a car was stolen sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 7 and 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 8. The resident also reported another car in the same driveway had an item taken from it.

A resident on Village Drive also reported a car was burglarized sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 7 and 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 8. Caggiano said several items were reported missing from the vehicle.

Caggiano said the Montville Township Police Department reminds residents not to leave keys in their vehicles and to lock their car doors.
