“Waterloo Canal Day”
Waterloo Canal Day is Saturday, June 27, 2015. 10 am to 4 pm  (Rain date, Sunday, June 28)
At Waterloo Village (The Historic Morris Canal Town)
Waterloo Road, Stanhope, NJ, Just off I-80 at Exit 25
This year’s Waterloo Canal Day will feature a wide range of activities for the whole family all centered around Waterloo Village, a restored 19th century Morris Canal town. On June 27th the Canal Society of New Jersey will bring the village back to life with canal boat rides, live music, tours and demonstrations. Many of the historic building will be open including Smith’s Canal store and a working water powered gristmill.

The building will be staffed by Canal Society volunteers who will talk about Waterloo’s history and offer hands-on activities.
Join us! Spend the day in a unique historic setting.
The Canal Society’s Waterloo programming will continue throughout the Summer and Fall with additional activities and events. Join us on any of these additional dates: July 11- 25 / August 8 - 29 / September 12 -26 / October 10 – 25.
