Reopening New Jersey: Gov. Murphy Moves to Lift Restrictions on Businesses, Venues and Gatherings

TRENTON, NJ — Gov. Phil Murphy today delivered a double-dose of reopening news, announcing that seating at bars and restaurant buffets will return on May 7, and all outdoor gathering limits and indoor capacity caps on most businesses will be lifted on May 19. Murphy Shares Vaccine Figures and and Statewide COVID Numbers

TRENTON, NJ -- Friday April 30 marked the end of the 13th month of the coronavirus pandemic. Gov. Phil Murphy reported via Twitter on Friday that 6,991,176 total vaccine doses had been administered, and more than three million (3,011,118) New Jerseyans are now fully vaccinated.

Gov. Murphy: No Separate Outdoor Mask Rules in New Jersey for Fully Vaccinated People

TRENTON, NJ — New Jersey will not be changing its face mask mandate, despite new federal guidelines that establish new outdoor rules for people who have been fully vaccinated.

What that means is people will still need to wear a mask outside unless they can maintain six feet of socially distancing, regardless of whether they have gotten the coronavirus shot or not.
