Many Businesses are Closed Due to Columbus Day; Find Out Which

MONTVILLE, NJ – Residents on their way to accomplish errands should call businesses before setting out, as today is the Columbus Day holiday.

The Montville Township Municipal Building will be closed, as employees have the holiday off. The Montville Township Public Library is closed, as well as all U.S. post offices. Many banks will also be closed such as Lincoln 1st and Lakeland.

Montville Residents Drink "Coffee with a Cop"

MONTVILLE, NJ – Residents met with Montville Township police officers in a friendly environment at the second annual Coffee with a Cop event, held Oct. 2 at Seven Scoops ice cream shop in Pine Brook.

The program launched in California eight years ago when officers from the Hawthorne police department were looking for ways to better interact with citizens, according to CoffeeWithACop.com.
