MONTVILLE, NJ – Montville Township administration announced that township buildings and facilities will be closed until further notice, pursuant to the governor’s executive order and the local office of emergency managment’s directive.
The Senior House, the library, and all indoor and outdoor facilities are closed. The only exception is the Morris County Nutrition Program – pickup for the Meals on Wheels program will be coordinated by Nancy Mertz, Director of Social Services, who can be reached at 973-331-3378.
Except for the township committee, all official meetings of the boards/commissions/committees shall be canceled until further notice.
The Montville Township Municipal Building will remain closed until further notice, but the essential services – administration, clerk, construction, engineering, finance, health, land use, public safety, social services, tax assessment, tax collection, and water & sewer utilities – are still functioning and are available through email, the website, telephone, through the Construction Department boxes located outside the Municipal Building front door, and through the yellow mailbox located in the parking lot at the Municipal Building.
