MONTVILLE, NJ – Montville Township Police Department invites families to Montville Truck Day, a community-wide interactive, hands-on event at which children and their families can see, touch and interact with and learn about dozens of cool vehicles close up. The event will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, from noon to 6 p.m. at Montville Township High School.

Montville Truck Day creates a learning experience for kids, allowing them to look, and touch cool trucks, as well as the opportunity to ask questions of the operators of the trucks. They can also meet some of their hometown heroes. From big rigs to emergency vehicles, children of all ages are encouraged to explore and investigate.

This family event is free, but donations to the Montville Township Police Explorers program are welcomed. Participants from last year included many of the township’s local businesses, along with the Montville Township Department of Public Works, the First Aid Squad, the fire departments, law enforcement agencies and more.
