MONTVILLE, NJ – Montville Recreation announces its annual “Trunk-or-Treat” Halloween event, to be held Thursday, Oct. 31 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Montville Community Park Amphitheater (located behind the library).

Businesses and organizations are being asked if they would like to participate in this event, by handing out treats or small prizes (like pencils) to the children.

“Trunk-Or-Treating” provides children with the ability to participate in “trick or treating” from car to car in a safe environment.

Note: “Trunks” will need to be set up between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Cars will not be allowed to leave until the event is over.

If inclement weather the event will be held in the Senior House. Tables will act as “trunks.”
