PARSIPPANY, NJ – Representative Mikie Sherrill (D -11) announced her next COVID-19 telephone town hall will be held on Thursday, May 14, at 5:10 p.m. This is Sherrill’s fourth telephone town hall during the COVID-19 pandemic, and she will focus this week on re-opening the economy.
“Re-opening the economy safely and in consultation with public health officials is going to take coordination, planning, and communication at all levels,” Sherrill said. “I’ve been working with colleagues in the House as well as state and local officials on what steps Congress can take to facilitate these efforts. For our town hall this week, I am bringing together experts who can speak to the public health, business, and research perspectives of what it will take to re-open and who can help answer questions from the community.”
