MONTVILLE, NJ – Vincent and Summer Failla and Century 21 The Crossing will be hosting the second annual Cow Plop on Oct. 20 from 2-5 p.m. at 88 Old Lane.
“After last year’s enormous success when we decided to fundraise for Kyle Cooney’s medical expenses after his severe car accident last fall, we decided this should become an annual event,” said Summer Failla. “This year we selected the Montville PBA because they are there to support members of the community in need and through scholarships.”
What’s a Cow Plop? It’s a sectioned-off area of a field separated into a grid of 100 boxes. A cow is then fenced into the area. People buy boxes on the grid for $50, and if the cow poops on their box, they win the 50/50. It’s a fun event for families with live music, drinks, and the Columbia Inn has donated their food truck for free pizza during a portion of the event.
“We’ve had great support from local business owners who sponsor most of the event, like Century 21 The Crossing, Failla Law Group, Lavenburg Electric, Dave Taormina with US Bank, Lena Mayo from Goosehead Insurance, The Columbia Inn, Sean and Laura Byrnes and Nick Taormina with Signature Home Inspections,” said Summer Failla.
You’ll see Bessie the cow, their mascot for the event, popping up around town and in videos promoting the event, like the one above at Seven Scoops for Coffee with A Cop.
Come out for this great event. For more information or to purchase a box, contact Summer Failla at 201-314-9899 or email@example.com or Venmo @summwr-failla.
