MONTVILLE, NJ – Girl Scout Daisy Troop #97539 from Woodmont School dropped off cookies for the Montville Township First Aid Squad volunteers on May 1.

"While we were selling cookies this year, we took cookie box donations for our community helpers," said Nicole Campbell, troop leader.  “We brought half of the boxes of cookies to the fire fighters at the Pine Brook Volunteer Fire Department and wanted to bring the other half to the first aid squad.  It is the girls’ way of saying thank you for all you do.”

"The Girl Scouts in town have been very supportive of us,” said Ed Coscia, first aid squad chairperson of the "Bring the Ambulance Home" campaign. “Besides this cookie donation, Troop 96548 is collecting change in donation cans around town. During the week of May 21-25, they will also have a coin collection at school for the new ambulance fund. We want to thank them all for their good intentions and efforts."
