MONTVILLE, NJ – If the town looks a little cleaner to you, it’s because 23 civic organizations cleaned areas all across town in October and November, just finishing up last week, filling up 163 bags of garbage.

Recreation Director Lori Dent told TAPinto Montville that 163 volunteers ranging from Boy and Girl Scouts, religious groups, mens’ and womens’ organizations and teen groups also filled up 106 bags of recyclables.

The parks, roadsides, schools, and many areas of towns were cleaned up using long-armed garbage grabbers, gloves, and lots of bending and back-breaking work.
