MONTVILLE, NJ – Montville residents can breathe a collective sigh of relief – in their homes – as, for four consecutive days as of May 13, the township had zero new cases of Coronavirus. In the days preceding that, very few new cases were reported.
Five new cases were reported on May 5, but after that, only a couple of new cases came in. Montville has had 226 total cases reported, and 204 of those have recovered. At present, 22 cases are active. It is not known how many residents have died from COVID-19, as the township has joined many other municipalities in not releasing those figures.
