Regular Garden Club meetings will resume on Oct. 2, when the topic will be “Gardening in the Age of Elizabeth.” Nov. 6th’s topic will be “Arranging with Flowers and Vegetables.” December will be the holiday party.

“Many people are under the impression that the Garden Club of Montville is all about gardening and nothing else,” said member Mary Ann Ackerman. “We do many events throughout the year, including trips, luncheons, parties and other fun activities.  As community service, we also maintain the gardens around the library and senior house, and participate in the annual town cleanup days.”

Regular meetings will be at the Senior House, 356 Main Road/Route 202 in Montville, and will begin at 7 p.m. New members are welcome.
